• to obey traffic regulation signals, traffic signs, and marking, and requirements related to behaviour in public places;
  
• to present personal documents and documents for their vehicle and carried goods (articles) during a check;
  
• to inform officers of the State Border Guard Service or Customs, immediately upon the beginning of checks, of being in possession of arms, ammunition, or explosive, narcotic, psychotropic, radioactive, or other materials or articles prohibited from transportation across the State border without proper authorisation. If identified during checks, such materials or articles shall be apprehended according to laws and other legal acts unless they were declared;
  
• to answer questions related to the travel across the State border put by the authorities performing checks and, when appropriate, provide them with written statements;
  
• to occupy the places indicated in passenger tickets when checks are carried out in the means of transport;
  
• to leave a vehicle upon a request of the authorities performing checks;
  
• to submit a vehicle, carried animals, or goods (articles) for checks and participate in such checks, upon a requirement of the authorities performing checks;
  
• to obey other lawful requirements of the authorities performing checks.

Persons crossing the State border shall be prohibited from the following:

• to circumvent the places of checks at border crossing points or otherwise attempt at evading checks;
  
• to leave the place of checks unless the checks were completed;
  
• to make photo, video, or sound recordings in the zone of checks unless authorised by the authorities performing checks;
  
• to enter and stay in the official premises of the authorities performing checks unless authorised by such authorities;
  
• to (un)load animals or goods (articles) from one vehicle to another, or to storehouses, at piling sites, or elsewhere within the zone of checks or other places supervised by units of the authorities performing checks unless properly authorised by the authorities performing checks;
  
• to let persons leave or enter a vehicle or (un)load animals or goods (articles) from/to a vehicle unless authorised by officials of the State Border Guard Service or Customs (while on the way from the borderline to a border crossing point or back).
